Classic Cyclades in 10 days

Ten days through Paros, Naxos, Ios and Santorini — the longer, more complete version of the classic Cyclades run, with real time on each island.

5 islands 10 nights from €560 / person

Ten nights is enough to stop rushing between ports and actually settle into four different islands. Paros opens the trip with an easy, low-key introduction, Naxos adds space and a working town, Ios brings a livelier stretch before the finale, and Santorini closes things out. The balanced pace keeps each hop to a single travel day, so nothing here needs a full rest day just to recover from ferries.

Why this order

Paros first makes sense logistically: fast ferries from Piraeus run five times a day, and Paros then connects to Naxos in as little as 30 minutes, the shortest inter-island hop in the whole trip. Naxos to Ios follows an established SeaJets line, and Ios to Santorini is a quick 45-minute crossing with five daily departures. Finishing in Santorini lets travelers fly out directly rather than sailing back to Piraeus. Run in reverse, the trip would leave its longest transfer, Paros to Piraeus, as a rushed final day.

Best for

Built for travelers with ten days to spend and no interest in cramming five islands into one week. The balanced pace suits people who want a swim most afternoons rather than a packed sightseeing schedule. Skip it if Ios's livelier nightlife holds no appeal — Naxos and Paros can absorb an extra night each instead — or if ten nights away is more time than you have.

How we plan it?

Ios has no airport, so it only works as a middle stop, never an endpoint — this order gets that constraint right. The Paros–Naxos and Naxos–Ios crossings both run through moderate wind zones in high summer; keep a buffer night free before Santorini in case an August meltemi day cancels a fast ferry.
