Sample itineraries

  • Cyclades in 7 days 7 days

A first-timer’s week through the Cyclades that balances the icons with real downtime, and keeps every ferry connection realistic. Athens to Mykonos, down through Naxos, and out to Santorini for the finale — with a backup night built in where the crossing matters most.

  • Cyclades in 10 days 10 days

Ten days lets you add the quieter western Cyclades to the classic loop. This version threads in Paros and Milos, trading one busy island for two slower ones, and still lands you in Santorini with room to spare.

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go island hopping in the Cyclades?

Late May to mid-June and September are the sweet spot: warm seas, reliable ferries and far fewer crowds than July and August. The meltemi wind is strongest in high summer and can disrupt fast boats.

How many islands should I visit in a week?

Three islands in seven nights is the comfortable maximum for a first trip — roughly two to three nights each. Fewer, longer stays beat racing between ports and losing half a day to every transfer.

How do I get from Santorini to Naxos?

Comfortable same-day connection. Fast boats run several times daily in summer; a 55-minute buffer covers the Athinios port transfer on the Santorini side.
